We believe that all the answers to skin and even medical problems are found in nature. Science has only scratched the surface discovering what plants will do. We have been searching for the perfect ingredients for an anti-aging/eye cream that would reduce fine lines and smooth out wrinkles. We test dozens of combinations of ingredients monthly. We have to have something very special before we bring out a new product. We recently started looking at Rose Hip Oil. We had some refined rose hip oil in stock and thought it looked pretty good. We noticed there were several companies making anti-aging creams and calling them Rose Hip creams. Always the Rose Hip oil was a minor ingredient. It seemed like they always used cheap oils like Sweet Almond oil or Grape Seed oil as the primary ingredients. And we also noticed they never a mentioned what grade of Rose Hip Oil was being used. If I''m paying $130 for 1.7 ounces of cream, it better be damn good cream! Not made with cheap ingredients. Why not use the best? We always take everything to the max when trying new ingredients. So I suggested trying a Virgin Rose Hip Oil. (in other words get the best oil) AND NO CHEAP OILS, just Virgin Rose Hip. Our chemist''s eye''s lit up and we ordered some of that special oil from our distributor (at over $600 for 5 gallons it isn''t cheap). The refined oil we had before was clear. This Virgin stuff is gorgeous. Next week we had the first good batch. After several failed batches. Precise temperatures we found were critical. I laughed when I first saw it. I told him ''we''ll never sell this''. It''s yellow. I thought it would be pink. I asked him how a red oil can make a lotion that is yellow and he tried to explain it to me, but it went over my head. I stuck my finger into the jar he handed me and was amazed at the texture. Smooth and creamy! The creamiest texture I''ve ever felt. I could feel this was different from anything we''ve made before. Well maybe we could sell it. Puffs the skin? What a smooth cream this is! And yes put it around the eyes in the morning and awake with a special soft skin. It sorts of puffs the skin. Like it''s inflating the skin ever so slightly. Fine lines diminish. And the longer you use it the better it works. We have dozens of testers scattered around the country. Mostly friends and family. An African-American friend of mine who handles our packages for us was the first to try it. His wife is sort of a moisturizer Connoisseur. With very dry skin. She is the first one we take anything to for her opinion. If she likes it, then we start sending out samples to others. So a few days later I asked him how his wife liked it and he said she loves it. He said he used it the first night himself and liked it. He went to use it again and his wife grabbed it out of his hands and told him it was hers and to leave it alone. I promised to get him his own jar. Sounds promising! Next it went to my niece. She and her husband have been very successful financially. And quite frankly she can and does spend a small fortune on keeping the fine lines away since turning 40. She called me when the package arrived. She''s a big fan of our Natural soap, so she tests for us as a favor for soap. I told her what it was, since it had no label. As we spoke, she was trying it on her upper lip and mentioning something about her skin puffing up. I told her I''d call her in a week. She called me a few days later raving about how she had finally found her perfect anti-aging product. I was in the middle of something and had forgotten what she was talking about. I thought maybe she was talking about another $100 an ounce cream she was trying. She was in love with our Rose Hip Cream. She''s using it on all her problem areas and quite stunned how well it was working. She wanted to know what we were selling it for and can I get some to her friend out west.
