while west elm, dwr, chiasso, a few uk stores, and others have this design, cb2 is the only one that has it in this brushed metal finish. my problem is there's not a desktop model. despite the high cost, i am tempted to get it one day and have a machinist cut it to length. i have lots of books that could keep the modern style of my room while being able to pull any book out of the middle of a stack. shelves are removable. all metal construction. pricey but well made.
