Didn't Work Out Reviewed By: E on 9/19/2007 Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week Pros: Speed matched that of my IDE 1040i DVD-RW drive which runs at Ultra DMA mode 4 Cons: Worked great 3 times on the 4th and 5th time that I tried to rip a DVD It spun up to Max power-rattled- then abruptly stopped and hung my computer Other Thoughts: When it worked it was quiet and fast - when it didn't it sounded like a jet plane powering up before it shut itself down -wish it would have worked out - sent it back 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.
