If your a Linux fan, then you have met your new toy. If you are not much of a ""computer guy"" and just need a small light laptop, then this is the one. This unit is very powerful for its size and has all the requirements met for office use plus more. The screen is small but very clear and readable from an ""arms distance away"". This is a laptop you can truly leave on your lap without feeling your thighs get toasty. Cons: The ""con"" is a result of the pro... The keyboard takes time to master. This is a result of the small keys. The other con is really a pro... You have to waste 5 minutes in every meeting whenever a new individual sees this baby for he first time. ""Oh wow! What is that? Where did you buy it? How much?"" blah blah blah. Other Thoughts: I wish I could have waited a few months longer as the 9"" LCD model is expected to release this summer. To solve the fan problems download the new BIOS 0404, it just came out. Look for it in downloads on ASUS site. Also google for ""eeectl"" to conveniently gain control over FSB clocks and advanced user-defined fan control. Hope it helps. I use it. Cons: None really. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
