Thank you! I'm debating between a laptop and a netbook. Sometimes I prefer a full size laptop, but other times a smaller one would be nice. I just read yesterday where Google is coming out with an open source operating system (yeah, really http://www.newsfactor.com/story.xhtml?story_id=0200016CYNZ4&nl=2&full_skip=1) that will be on some netbooks for 2010. I just don't know enough about some off these off brands to know what's good and what's not. I usually research things to death but I can't get into it this time around. I greatly appreciate your input.

@lamerchick It's a netbook, so it's small. My sister has an EeePc that she's been really happy with, although her's has Linux and this one has XP. It's usually preferable to get a netbook that has has something other than Vista on it, as the Vista bogs down the performance a lot. This one has a decent processor and a lot of HDD space for a computer this size. If you are interested in getting this one, there is an option further down on the page to purchase additional RAM, and it is actually cheaper to get the extra RAM due to a rebate. I like netbooks because they are small and easy to take around with you. Plus, this one has the piano finish so it is nice and shiny! My boyfriend is considering getting this too.

I'm needing a new computer. Do you know anything about these?
