I mean those buckles are HUGE. But I gave them a shot and was pleasantly surprised. If you wear a lot of open toe shoes and slingbacks you'll find that the hardware on this shoe helps to set it apart from all the other basic black pairs you have in the closet. As for fit and comfort, well these are great. There is some hidden elastic under the buckles so the shoe will stay on your foot without being too tight. BCBG runs a bit narrow and short in general - this shoe is no different so order your regular BCBG size.
