The French baby-food maker that has won praise throughout Europe is finally available to American families. This compact countertop appliance multitasks as a steamer, blender, warmer and defroster to prepare fresh, healthy meals for baby. It starts by steam cooking vegetables, fruits, meat and fish in less than 15 minutes, preserving their vitamins and flavors, then purees or blends them to your desired consistency. You can also use it to quickly reheat or defrost precooked foods. With it comes a 2-cup polycarbonate bowl, cooking basket, spatula and recipe booklet. 11" x 5 1/2" x 8" high.See less »
We decided to tackle this one again with the manufacturer, and it is definitely BPA and PVC free. So enjoy!Posted by thesoftlanding (The Soft Landing) at 10:22 AM on 2/13/09Report Spam
No, the bowl is made from polysulfone NOT polycarbonate (although a few years ago, it was made from that). Once again, a fantastic product for producing safe and organic foods for children that gets attacked by over-stimulated, negative, gloom and doom Americans.Posted by shuw at 1:52 PM on 8/30/08Report Spam
The product is not safe for babies. The bowls are made of polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is proven to leech BPA when heated, which is the primary use of this product. Manufacturer should provide BPA-free bowl.Posted by mariesolem at 7:36 AM on 4/25/08Report Spam
