Keeping the eyes open for what's laying around the house, today's women can take classic furnishings that are no longer used or discontinued, and renew, or "repurpose" the items to unique items that many would spend thousands on. This is an old, box television, now a functional minibar with speakers and an old mp3 player hiding in it. How awesome is that? And, it's certainly a mark of extravagance that cost little to nothing to produce. For all the talk of "green" living, I'd like to see some honest approaches to using what's already there, rather than adding to the landfills. I'd like to see creativity celebrated, and commercialism discarded in favor of actual, practical, and beautiful sustainable living. Just...think about it for a while...
