"Streamlined construction" + "internet/catalog only" means it's composite/fake wood. I called them and they confirmed that it's made from medium-density fiber board. I'm annoyed that the website is so vague about what it's actually made from. It doesn't even mention that it has a veneer and the lady on the phone said it does.
