Looks like this might help make a room look a bit bigger, drawing the eye up. It's also a nice detail.

I LOOOVE the chandelier as well - but this flock is much more living room to me. I've had my eyes on these for a while - did you know that you're not limited to their listed colors? You can have their customer colors for a small fee too!! Love the metallic silver and black together....
