when i wear foundation and powder i think a natural shimmer highlight is key. it gives you back that glow that wearing foundation and powder can take away. you really need a natural shimmer though! nothing with glitter. glitter just looks noticeable and trashy. i use a soft brush like my mac 187 and pick up some product with it and apply it to my cheek bones and temples after i have applied my foundation but before i have applied my loose powder. i try to not apply it to the apples of my cheeks because that can just make you look shiny. then i set this with my loose powder which makes it look more subtle and natural.

Just a caveat - it's very pretty but the bricks fall apart very easily. If you buy it - just be careful and don't tote it around too much - leave it at home in the make up drawer. :)
