Making a cake is easy! When working with the pattern, you can adjust the size of the cake by adding or subtracting the number of rounds. For example, varying the top of the cake corresponds with the width and the side of the cake, the height. To fill a cake, start with a tulle circle or mesh. Place potpourri in the center, secure the net fabric with a rubber band, and stuff it in the cake - voilà, a cake sachet! All of my work is constructed from tight stitches and even tension. I only use the extolled Cotton Classic by Tahki Stacy Charles (sometimes organic cotton from a different brand) accompanied with a D/3.0 mm needle size. This 100% cotton yarn brings ease to every stitch and creates a smooth finish. Moreover, there is a vast array of vibrant colors to choose from. It is unparalleled yarn that brings its natural goodness, cotton, to any project. Although these patterns work with any type of yarn, I would recommend dropping down to a half or whole needle size. These patterns are created by yours truly. Enjoy! Brandy Snap Basket With gold, form an adjustable ring. Rnd 1: 6 sc in ring, join. Rnd 2: ch 1, 2 sc in each sc, join.
