Materials needed to make a CAT HAMMOCK: * 1 Bag of High Loft Batting (can make up to 10 or 11 hammocks) * Grommets and grommet pliers or you can sew button holes or material loops instead * 4 key ring hooks (or ribbons) * Scissors * Pillow cases | Step 1: Take a pillow case and apply the grommets, (or sew loops, or button holes) in each of the 4 corners. Step 2: Lay out a double layer of batting, place the pillow case on top and cut batting slightly smaller than the pillow case. | Step 3: Insert batting into pillowcase, as if you're putting a pillow case on a pillow. | Step 4: Pin the open-end closed and stitch. Step 5: Mark a border about 2 inches from edge all the way around the pillowcase, pin and stitch. | The object of this step is to hold the batting in place so that it won’t bunch up during laundering. Sometimes I like to draw a design and stitch it using a contrasting color thread. | Step 6: Insert hooks through grommets, button holes or loops and hook to sides of cage. | =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= =^.^= | Step 7: Enjoy!See less »
