The racks stack securely on top of each other - we've shown a single rack as well two stacked here. Additional racks may be added as your shoe collection grows. Each rack will hold about two and a half pairs of men's shoes or about four pairs of women's. The aromatic red cedar will not only protect your shoes, but will impart its fragrance throughout the closet to protect your clothing as well. We recommend reviving the aromatic potency of the cedar by gently sanding the wood with fine sandpaper at least once a year.
