"I was excited to find this item available to purchase after seeing dispensers like these in hotel dining rooms during breakfast hours. However, after using the dispenser, I have improvements I would suggest. The plastic handle concerns me as far as long-term durability because it can be hard to turn. Also the turning paddles tend to crush the cereal. And finally, I would like to see the bottom of the dispenser have some sort of lid system. Air seeps up from the bottom and therefore the cereal can get stale. I try to "close" it off by attaching a small snack sized ziploc bag with a rubberband but my version of a "lid" is not easy for a child to put back on after they dispense cereal. I wouldn't purchase this again nor suggest it to a friend. However, if I saw improvement in the dialing and dispensing mechanism and saw it "capped" on the bottom, I would buy the improved version. Overall I think it is a useful invention. It just needs some adjustments." 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.
