I have not tried the new version of Chanel No 5 but read that they came out recently with a lighter fragrance that the original. On my must try list!

It would be better to choose Dior's Jadore, but since you don't have that as a choice, Chanel it is.

Especially if you haven't tried this before - get it. It isn't an overpowering smell - light and powdery.
