Apparently they're developing a Children of MenTV series.
I did like the color of this movie with all its dingy browns, its lively greens, and dim, gunmetal blues, but I think this film is proof positive that it doesn't take a whole lot to go out and win yourself a BAFTA...
I didn't want to shoot "Baby" Diego, but the Strawberry Cough made me do it!
I thought this film was extraordinary. Very thought-provoking and moving as well. Great performances. I never read the book, though I have enjoyed other P.D. James novels. We watched this on New Year's Eve so I still got to say it was my favorite film of 2006 :)
Good thing I haven't read the book... I have this movie at home right now from Netflix ;)
Clive Owen kicked ass in this, though. I think if they hadn't changed 95% of the novel it would have been better. I'm fine with films not being like the novels they're based on, but all the changes didn't add a single thing to the story.
I know what you mean, I hate the feeling of watching a movie that you regret!
i'm probably in the minority on this one, but i hated this movie. too uncomfortable & disturbing. i did finish it, but regretted watching it later. blech.
lol I didn't think it was boring at all, I was on the edge of my seat. But then again, this is my kind of movie, sci fi, action & political. :)
I kind of liked the movie also, but it WAS soooooooooo boring. My boyfriend absolutely could not get through it. I was a trooper, and in the end I am glad I watched it, but it was a tough one to get all of the way through...
No, I haven't read it. I'm sure it's infinitely better than the movie haha.
REALLY!?!?!
i thought it was deep. i only saw it once but like i said it reminds me of the McCarthy book which i really enjoyed.
well, did you read that or did you think it was boring too!?!?lol
I'm sure the idea behind this movie was good, but it was just so boooooriiiing. My boss tried to talk to me about it, saying it was a good movie. When I responded with "I thought it was pretty boring" his answer was "Well, yeah it was boring, but it was so good." What?? Boring = Not good. I fell asleep.
