As a side note, Emily says you can just throw everything in the bowl and mix. I've found that mine raise better if I mix the warm milk, the sugar, and the yeast together in a separate bowl and let the yeast grow. Once it's nice and frothy, I mix it in with the rest of the ingredients before letting it all rest for the recommended 15 minutes. I have yet to make these the night before and leave them in the fridge overnight.
Aw! Thanks! They weren't hard to make at all, which was nice. All the other recipes I looked at were going to take forever, so it was nice that this one was a "throw it in a bowl, mix, let it sit 15 mintues, then finish" kinda recipe.
You can bake for me any day. :) I'll make something like this once in a blue moon on the weekend. :( Your hubby is a lucky guy.
Haha. ;) I'm enjoying a wonderful cup of coffee as we speak. :) As for breakfast...I need to go shopping this evening.
I haven't eaten it yet, if that's any consolation...I need to run and get myself some creamer so I can make a cup of coffee to go with it first. : )
You would have to announce that to us first thing in the morning now, wouldn't you? ;) Want to know what I had for breakfast? I think not. :p
I made these last night for breakfast this morning. Although the recipe didn't call for it, I put raisins in my rolls (and would have put pecans if I'd thought of it in time). I also didn't have the things to make the icing, so mine don't have any, but they are still super good!
Ok, I really don't need to be looking at a food list right now, but these caught my attention. I will be borrowing these thank you very much.
