Therefore, it is very important to think about any investment that you put money on this area, especially buying furniture for patio. This is because patio is located in outdoor area so you may need kind of furniture that extremely durable and resist to severe temperature and weather changes. The best solution of furniture for patio is probably teak furniture, which has all qualification for patio furniture, especially durability, teak furniture could last for at least ten to twenty years. The original of teak wood is in tropical zone in Southeast Asia such as Thailand and Indonesia. Teak requires a lot of time to grow and strong enough for harvesting to make furniture (at least 10-15 years) but there is strong demand for teak furniture each year but limited amount of teak patio furniture that can be produced. Therefore, this could make the price of teak wood furniture so expensive. However, there is still a good reason to use teak furniture for patio and other outdoor area. There are many style and size of patio area, which depends on the size of the house as well as owners' preference so teak furniture that used for patio should be vary in shape, colour and style too. In fact it is important to choose furniture with some visual weight if that's all you're putting on your patio. For someone who may not yet have an idea of arranging patio furniture, you may start with simple table set, which can be used for small party. The teak furniture sometimes could be mixed with other kind of materials such as granite stone or marble, which provide elegant look. Moreover Round or square, glass or marble topped, extendable or foldable, tables made of teak come in a variety of styles and sizes. If you have very limited budget to afford the whole set of teak furniture, you may buy chairs that made by other materials in stead of teak, such as metal, or foldable plastic chair. However, it doesn't mean that you must have teak furniture for patio or other outdoor area. In some case you may not interested to have more table set because you already have one, try to arrange them as you prefer. You may try different ways by bring indoor comfort outdoors. For example, you might be interested to bring sofas and settees from inside the house to patio, this is fine because you will have more comfort when you sit and relaxing at patio. But it is strongly recommend that the sofas should be there only for temporary. This is because this kind of furniture could not stay outdoor in permanent basis, they could be damaged by strong sunlight and heavy rain. However, in case if you already have a set of table but you would like to have new teak furniture especially for patio, I could say they you have made a good decision, this will worth your money in long term investment and you will find that there are plenty of designs available. But the most important thing is you have to consider that you should by only the set that can go with your budget, because buying expensive table set does not guarantee that you will always get good quality furniture.
