Joining some wonderful, well- established contemporary design destinations located in Boston’s South End, such as Sedia and Machine Age, Jill Goldberg’s home furnishings shop called Hudson, is an inviting addition to the neighborhood. The shop just celebrated its one year anniversary, and features an excellent website that showcases its well edited mix of updated vintage finds and current pieces. Some modern retro offerings include this preppy twist on a vintage Danish Bench, upholstered in a Coastal Stripe. Also interesting are the unique vintage Feed bags that owner Goldberg has reworked to make campy throw pillows. Contemporary highlights from the collection include Denyse Schmidt’s colorful quilts designed for the pint sized community, as well as a solid inventory of interesting and affordable table lamps. * Sonciary Honnoll Says: October 2nd, 2007 at 7:23 pm Thanks for the Boston info! Looks like we’re going to have to take a trip to Boston! I did check out Hudson’s website and I really like it!
