My whole family drooled as they watched me make these soaps. Now they're all complaining that there's nothing sweet in the house to eat, and that they're craving cake. The bottom portion of this soap is scented with a fantastically strong birthday cake scent, and colored with a smidge of fdc color and natural yellow oxide. The top portion is scented with a realistic Cherry vanilla fragrance, and was colored with an FDC red colorant. Because the fragrances used in this batch were so strong, I didn't have to use much - making these soaps, with colorant, about 98% Natural. The sprinkles on top are actual candy sprinkles and will brush off rather easily if you want them gone before use. Otherwise, they'll probably wash away the first time the soap is used. This soap is handcrafted from scratch just like the rest of my soaps. I never use melt and pour bases. COCOA butter was used to superfat as usual, and will leave your skin silky and moisturized. 4 to 4.5 ounces each, and just as big as a real cupcake. Note: This recipe is slightly different than the last batch of cakes. Rosemary Oleoresin (Roe) was added to the oils to help protect against oxidization, and titanium dioxide was added to lighten the oils where the ROE had darkened it. Both are natural ingredients :) This batch was superfatted with Cocoa rather than shea.
