See more » I have created this 1/2 inch wide band to add to my inscribed collection of jewelry at the original request of a customer. He wanted a Daddy's piece of jewelry...and you really don't see Daddy's jewelry out there! It's a classy, clean, simple band made of very thick and durable sterling silver stock. I fabricated it and sanded it to a smooth, even shine and then added a satin finish for a more rugged look. The first 2 pictures show the ring oxidized with a satin finish, the third picture shows an oxidized, shiny finish and the last 2 show the satin finish, but with no oxidation, for a more subtle look. This ring can be finished in many different ways -- smooth finish (pictured), hammered finish, rough-sanded finish, oxidized, oxidized lightly and tumbled for a shine, distressed. I inscribed the names on a diagonal at the request of my customer, but I can stamp straight across the band and wrap the text around the band in rows, if that's what you want. I am allowing for 50 characters for this ring, but more can be added to a second row for an additional $5. I will evaluate each request individually and discuss with you layout and design features when you order...so each ring will truly be customized for you. Please remember that the characters that I currently have are letters, numbers and the following punctuation: period, colon, and ampersand. Please be aware that there is an extra $5 materials charge for rings larger than 10. Please do not use cream or liquid tarnish removers on my pieces, as it may permanently damage the patina I use on many of my pieces.
