OK, technically it doesn't sparkle - but what I like about this watch is that the band is LEATHER. See, my skin doesn't like any metals except for gold and silver - it just eats the metal right on up. As you can imagine, watches don't last very long and I certainly can NOT afford a gold or silver watch (NOT PLATED, either, 'cause my skin will eat through the plate, too, even if it is "vermeil" or whatever fancy name they call it - it doesn't work, it doesn't stay - it gets eaten just like it's brass, bronze, pewter or stainless steel - gone). So, this watch would actually, you know, last. What a concept, eh?
