Discountmugs.com was terribly unprofessional in my latest experience. I have ordered from them over 6 times in the past 6 months. While only about 80% of their orders arrive with damaged product or mistakes, this last experience was the worst. We rely on using discountmugs.com to supply us with product for our business. Yes I have to admit that when I read a few bad comments about discountmugs, I thought I was a goner. No doubt anyone would get swayed by bad comments first. I think discount mugs has good pricing for their wine glasses- and they have quality too. I needed some desperately and fast! Imagine the dismay when you know that shipping takes at least 3 weeks. After some negotiation with the manager, I managed to get my shipped in a weeks time which is just great considering the fact that my event was just days ahead. Should buy from this site. Had a good experience so far-service was good, products were good though shipping can be a lot more better. Otherwise everything is ok. Go for their glassware-the plain ones withouth the etching. Great for if you need glassware in large quantities but at an affordable price. i ordered 4 personalized wine glasses as a present, i recieved them much later than the anticipated delivery date, which i give the company credit for informing me they were having mechanical difficulties. I finally recieved 5 glasses, which were not my order. 2 were doubles and one glass had the incorrect name on it. Also i paid extra for gift boxes, which were smashed by the time the glasses got here, so i had to go buy new boxes. Your order number is worthless for reviewing you purchase, its only a way for them to keep track of it, so when i was told it was my own mistake i had no way to review that. Also there is never anyone to answer their customer service phone. Also when i finally did find a live chat button, i tried 5 different times to talk to someone, and each time no one was there. I used the form on the discount mugs website to create a ticket with info about the broken mugs and 2 missing. I received an email the next day asking if they could credit my account for the 6 pieces. I replied to the e-mail but no response. Yoou have to use the ticket system on the website to reply. Received mugs today via ups. Will give a full review after further inspection. At first glance they look really nice. The mugs were packed in one box then surrounded by a form fitting foam in another box. I ordered 72 and received 70. 4 are broken. The rest are in good shape and re nice heavy mugs (I ordered the campfire style mugs). If you are planning on getting photo mugs this Christmas, then you should try discountmugs. I ordered 100 mugs for a family retreat outing that my company hosted. The picture quality was clear-no pixels or blurred images. Also, the images were printed out full frame without any cropping done, leaving a nice white space around the picture and the picture was placed at the opposite of the handle which made the overall effect good. With Christmas and New Year around the corner and very little time on my hands, I decided to online shop for my gifts. A real review: I own a coffee shop in Greenwood Indiana. "Strange Brew Coffee" . I have placed my order for coffee mugs at the lowest shipping cost possible. The estimated delivery time was today. The mugs have not arrived. I have been tracking the order on the site and it went back and forth between art and film department. It is now in "Employee & Job scan Department". I really think that DiscountMugs has a great taste for coffee mugs as I absolutely love love their classic shaped coffee mug. I had that printed with a photo and given as Christmas presents and everybody loved it. I had a pleasant experience when I purchased products from DiscountMugs. I think the overall customer service experience was professional and prompt which made the company more credible to deal with. My email enquiries were answered in a span of a few minutes, which is good and mostly important for an online company. Other than that, the products were good to. I ordered 100 etched wine glasses. The quality of the etching was mediocre but the glasses themselves were good especially for such affordable pricing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Their products are poor quality, the customer service is nonexistent.So far I have received 3 different shipments of broken mugs that are just garbage. Ha Ha Ha - keep your eye on their "wonderful" tracking page. They claim it takes 3 days to get through each stage. Bunch of lies - it took 14 days to get my simple order through stage one (the art department) - get use to making lots of phone calls. Hope you do not have a critical deadline - they won't meet it unless you pay the extortion fees ... I mean the "priority order fees". BUT the web site does LOOK great - just wait. I ordered mouse pads and keychains to be included into a gift pack for my son’s 10th birthday party. My fiance and I placed an order with discount mugs. My fiance and I were give a proof and they misspelled the word "wedding". We notified them of the change. Discount mugs sent us our shot glasses -with the same spelling mistake. After multiple emails and phone calls, they still refuse to replace the shot glasses unless we paid an additional $100. I would not recommend this company to anyone. An extra couple of dollars is better than a company that has a horrible customer service department and refuses to address issues that are their fault. I called Discount Mugs to inquire about travel mugs that I was interested in. The girl I spoke with assured me that they had screw on tops. I ordered them & when I got them, they were a flimsy pop on top. When I wrote to the company the response I got, via email was: "Discount Mugs has a no returns no refunds policy in place. This is a 'blank' item order, so if you do not want the order, you may return it at your cost, and we will issue an 'in store credit' for the order, which you may apply toward a different order for any item and at any time. We are sorry if someone inadvertantly informed you that this was a 'screw on' cap, however you placed the order yourself online, therefore we have no way to know whom you spoke to.." After I placed my order with DiscountMugs.com, I started to read all the horrible reviews and was really scared as to what would arrive. I have to say I am very happy with the product. I ordered 100 LED pens, 100 highlighters and 100 LED keychains with three lines of text. The color of the items were dark with the text in white. From the previous reviews people complained about the white being too thin, but I did not notice this. With the keychains, there are a few that came with some scratches on the text, but all in all, I am very satisfied. I think that the people who post are probably the ones who had problems, so don't be totally turned off. i ordered from this company 2x....BIG MISTAKE! i should have learned my lesson the first time...the first order of pens i was not happy with it because the print on it was sooo small that you needed a magnifying glass to see it...when i notified the company about this, they said the size of the template prevented them from making it any bigger...even though i thought that was a cop-out, i accepted their explanation...decided to give them another chance, this time i looked at all of their pens and size of templates...chose the biggest one...when i got the order back a few days ago, i was disgusted! We ordered 300 pens with our logo printed in white on blue pens. We received the order on time. However, the pens are designed to be glue together, after printing apparently, and at least 28 out of the 300 were not glued or glued poorly. Several had globs of glue on the pen barrel itself, and a few had scratches in the finish of the pen barrel, extending into the metal itself.All 300 pens had poor printing quality, with weak ink coverage. Although printing a light cover over a dark color is difficult, I know it's possible, as my wife gave me a sample pen from another company where the white printed solidly and perfectly on blue. The printing on our pens allows the blue base to penetrate through the ink a bit.In a nod to DiscountMugs.com, ordering was easy, shipping was fast, and a response from their web-only customer service department was timely.
