this is a classy looking that can be worn for dress or played down with jeans
this one seems the more versitile without being too boring, and pure wool would prob be the warmest.

everyone goes with the black coat- so go for the gray- it will look great if you wear a lot of black already.
this one you could make look professional or rock it out with an accessory or two
