My dad loves marine life and currently maintains a koi-fish pond while I remember him taking care of tropical fish and coral in my childhood, so I feel this is where my fascination with the ocean and waterlife comes from.
When I saw this game, I had to pick it up and try it out.
It's pretty cool; you have 5 tanks of different sizes to adjust temperature, soil, and content for the life you will support in them.
The Fantasy Aquarium is focused on the marine life that you would never have personally, like whales, penguins, and sharks.
But there is an Aquarium DS which is focused on small tropical and freshwater pet-sized fish.
Pretty fun non-game; I recommend; it's a different pace from the strange "pet-mammals" games out right now.
