See beautiful forms of aquatic life anytime you want with Fantasy Aquarium. This simulation transforms your Nintendo DS into a portable fish tank that you must maintain and manage. Fill it with whales, dolphins, sharks, seals and other ocean-dwelling species. Just make sure you don't let predators get at their prey. You can even decorate and accessorize with rocks, plants and figurines to make your undersea creatures feel right at home. Keep all your underwater friends happy and healthy so you can trade them with others. Maintaining a proper environment is the key to keeping a thriving aquarium. Adjust the tank's size, as well as the water's temperature and salinity, so the marine animals will be comfortable. Choose from more than 30 types of sea creatures, including fish and mammals. Successful aquarium owners will soon unlock new fish, decorations and other nifty items. Want to share your fish with friends? Wirelessly trade with others until you have an impressive collection of marine life.

My dad loves marine life and currently maintains a koi-fish pond while I remember him taking care of tropical fish and coral in my childhood, so I feel this is where my fascination with the ocean and waterlife comes from.
When I saw this game, I had to pick it up and try it out.
It's pretty cool; you have 5 tanks of different sizes to adjust temperature, soil, and content for the life you will support in them.
The Fantasy Aquarium is focused on the marine life that you would never have personally, like whales, penguins, and sharks.
But there is an Aquarium DS which is focused on small tropical and freshwater pet-sized fish.
Pretty fun non-game; I recommend; it's a different pace from the strange "pet-mammals" games out right now.
