i would rather have the straightener but..i wouldnt get the chi. i love chis but they fry your hair. they are not 100% ceramic which ruins your hair. my favorite straightener EVER is the corioliss. its wonderful.

this one is less expensive and you would prob. use it more ask for the north face for christmas or your birthday or something =]

i used to talk a lot of smack about this product, but thats because i unintentionally bought a counterfeit. but i got the real thing and i'm in loooove. no heat setting, just an on-off button, which i love because i don't like making decisions haha.
