I don't know if this is the brand I have, but the ones we have are very helpful. Our son has not eaten any commercial baby food. (Okay, we did try baby cereal, but he didn't like it.) With these bags, he has eaten table food without us having to mash or puree. We also don't have to worry about him choking. We didn't start solids until he started grabbing for the food off our plates and was willing to lick thin foods from our fingers. So, he was ready for these to help with his introduction to solids. A friend has a brand with an oval (versus round) handle. She says her daughter sticks the handle in her mouth and gags. Her brand also screws the bag onto the handle. Her daughter is rather rambunctious and bangs the bag on the table. This eventually opens the bag and the contents fall out. The brand we have flips open. It's hard to open it, you have to actually pull on the bag while flipping the catch. Little kids are unable to open this. (Dogs, on the other hand, are very good at ripping it to pieces.)A very valuable device for introducing solids to babies who are ready for them. You can also fill with crushed ice, or frozen fruit, for a hot day or teething day treat. Comment | Was this review helpful to you? (Report this)
