In January my hosting company sent me a renewal for $185.00 Canadian for one year of hosting. Before renewing I thought I would look around to see what other hosting companies offered within their plans. I had been at the same place for 5 years and was getting virtually nothing for my virtual hosting. I wanted PHP and MySQL support because I do all of my programming in PHP and I use a bunch of opensource applications such as Moodle, phpBB and Website Baker for my CMS. I also wanted other things, like the ability to control my domain and add subdomains. In short, I wanted the ultimate hosting control panel. I found Site5, and I was really impressed. At $7.77 US a month on a two year contract I get 11GBs of space, 400 GBs of bandwidth and 5 websites. Yup, 5 seperate websites, each with their own complete Control Panel. I administer the whole account through a nifty interface called Backstage. Check out Site5 and look at their list of features and prices. Very cool!!
