Materials Worsted weight yarn (amout depends on desired length) H-hook OR and hook and yarn combonation that you can use to achieve the gauge Gauge: 1 tr x 4 tr = 1 square inch Turning ch counts as 1 tr. To begin, ch 25. Row 1: Tr in fifth ch from hook. Tr in each st across. (21 tr) Row 2: Ch 3, turn. Tr in next st, ch 1, skip next st, * tr in next three st, ch 1, skip next st. * Repeat from * to * 3 times. Tr 2. (5 ch 1 spaces, 16 tr) Row 3: Ch 6, turn. Tr in 4th st. * Ch 3, skip next 3 st, tr in next st. * Repeat from * to * across. (5 ch 3 spaces, 6 tr) Row 4: Repeat row 2. (5 ch 1 spaces, 16 tr) Row 5 - desired length: Repeat rows 1-4. When scarf is at the desired length, finish the pattern by adding a final repeat of row 1. Finish off. Tassles: Cut 84 24-inch lengths of yarn. Secure in groups of six to either end of the scarf by the middle to form seven tassels on either end.
