GreenCulture cheats customers. I ordered a bed that seemed to come with underbed storage drawers. I called less than 2 days later to confirm the bed came with drawers, and I was told it did not. I tried to cancel the order, but Green Culture refused on the ground that it had already sent the order to the manufacturer. Through my own research I found the manufacturer and called it. The manufacturer denied ever receiving the order. Meanwhile Green Culture sent me an email claiming they had contacted the manufacturer and the manufactuer would charge a $540 penalty for cancelation. When I called the manufactuerer again, it repeated that it had not received the order. It also said that even if it had received the order it would not charge a penalty for cancelation unless it had already shipped the bed.
Bottom line: Green Culture lied to me multiple times and is now charging my credit card $540 for absolutely nothing.
Buyer beware!! They simply rename and resell many of their products and charge much more than you can get them for elsewhere. Their delivery is the slowest of any company I have ever dealt with and their customer service is almost non-existent. While ordering products from them sounds like the "green" eco-friendly thing to do, you may get greenscammed. I would recommend looking for the same products elsewhere and only ordering from Green Culture if they were the only ones that had what you were looking for, but a lot of their products can be found through other companies that value the customer.
Thanks for posting this. I am going to have to check it out. I have always been a big environmental advocate, but now I want to get a little stricter about it with myself. I was looking for a place like this.
