I would choose the 3-in-1. Purchasing a cooker that doesn't hold enough food (the Krups Rice-Slow Cooker-Steamer) will come back to haunt you in the future, and while the Stay or Go model holds as much as the 3-in-1 and is more mobile, I would prefer having more control over the quantity of food that's prepared.

i have one that has a 3 and a 4. Comes in handy. And if you need to take it anywhere you can get a slow cooker bag at your local walmart.

These things are sooo cool and you can do so much with a slow cooker. You can get knives for cheap at Bed Bath and Beyond.
