Horrible Customer service and Very Rude!! I purchased a $4,000 sectional couch, delivery was last Thursday and set-up was incomplete. They neglected to hook the pieces on the rail so when you sit down the pieces move. They are too heavy for me to do by myself, so I called customer service within an hour of delivery and was told to hold on while she called the driver. She came back to the phone with an attitude saying the driver said I told him not to hook it up that I was going to move it later. Move it, the thing is a monster and there is NO where else to move it to! After arguing with me she said they would come back today and hook it up, after waiting all day they never showed up!! I called and they said I was not on the schedule, and told me to hold on. I was on hold for 30 minutes and finally hung up and called the store. I'm hoping the salesman can get them to complete the job, I will post later with the results. I still need bedroom furniture, dining room and a kitchen set, you would think the company would want the repeat business especially in this economic climate. If anybody knows of a "reputable" furniture store in the Chicago area please let me know.

My wife and I purchased both a bedroom suit and sectional from our local Room Place. We are now currently having our bed replace for a second time three months later, and they are refusing to warranty our sectional which is coming apart. Spend the extra money and go somewhere where you can get quality and where they will stand behind their product.

I desperately needed to update our living room furniture before the holidays since we would be the ones hosting the extended family gathering this year. What I really needed was furniture that looked contemporary but wasn't very expensive. I went to several furniture stores but was blown away by the prices but when I went to The Roomplace, I was pleased to find a number of pieces that fit exactly what I was looking for. Yes the sales people are a bit pushy but there is just no way to beat their style /price combination. I highly recommend The Roomplace for people who need nice-looking furniture on a budget
