Have you ever made a granny square afghan and had to sew the darned thing together? Probably you have if you're reading this review. You know how much of a pain in the neck it can be to sew and sew and sew, especially if you decided to be nutty and made all _tiny_ granny squares to sew together. This book has patterns that do not need to be sewn together. You can use your crochet hook to finish it up. No more "pincher aches" in the thumb and forefinger from sewing. No more trying to weave in the gazillion loose ends. The designs are good for beginners as well as intermediate crocheters. They are clear and concise. The sizing (surprise!) is good for the Boticelli women among us. You don't have to feed your family beans for the rest of their lives to buy the yarn for the projects, so that's great. Plus most of the yarn is easily available if you live near a good sized city. I would recommend this book highly for anyone who wants to complete various 1 part projects.
