You like a good single malt? Or a small batch vodka? Neat, over ice? Great, then today is your day to rejoice, because if you are amongst those who like a little ice in their drink, then you know that a great Lagavulin isn't quite as good watered down once the ice melts. Well, today is your day to put an end to it, today we have the ingenious, amazing, perfect ice stones for you. What are ice stones you ask? Read on: Ice Stones are made in Vermont from natural soapstone, by the craftsmen of the oldest soapstone workshop in the United States. The stones are nonporous, and will impart neither flavor nor odor. Much more gentle than ice, Ice Stones are used to cool down your favorite spirit just enough to take the edge off without “closing down” the flavors. And it's as easy as pie: place them in the freezer for at least 4 hours before use. Add 3 stones to a glass. Pour until liquid has reached the height of 1 stone. Let stand for 5 minutes. Sit back and enjoy. Absolutely lovely! Once you are done, rinse and air dry the stones and back in the freezer they go, ready to be deployed again. The set of 9 stones comes packaged in a gift box, with a lovely reusable storage bag included - making them a perfect gift for every discerning spirit lover. Whether it's Whiskey or small batch Vodka - the stones work magic!
