I've heard great things about this style. if you are looking for something you can use while running I'd definitely go with this one =)
You may not always have something to clip your 'pod onto, and I speak from experience that having it hanging around you neck will bump it about and make you crazy. See link: http://jtomalley.blogspot.com/2006/05/ipod-case-reviews.html
As annoying as it could potentially be, this one can be used for walking AND running, whereas you'd have too much bounce and flop with the others.
I own this one. It's a great secondary case. I use it for walking/jogging and use the shockproof one the rest of the time.
