Kind Fruit and Nut Bars were introduced to me by a nutritionist who I used to see. They are fabulous, and I love them. They are an all-natural alternative to a candy bar or energy bar or meal bar. They are not full of weird ingredients, preservatives, and chalky-tasting fake ingredients as many 'nutrition' products are these days. They can be ordered online from many places, or purchased at a health-oriented grocery store. Since they have a lot of nuts they are higher in fat, but this is essential fat that your body needs in order to function properly. I used to be apprehensive about the fat content, but my nutritionist explained to me that eating one of these bars instead of a package of gummy bears which has no fat was infinitely smarter and would stave off food cravings for longer, thus keeping me satisfied and less likely to snack on bad foods. In the long run, therefore, you eat less and consumer fewer calories! My favorite flavor is walnut and date, but they are all good and very flavorful. Plus they donate some of their proceeds to charity!
