Although I bought these for my granddaughter of 7, I was pleased when my grandsons of 8 & 10 wanted to start one of their own. It did not take 30 min for them to be on their own with them and working away. I use a 39" wooden loom and wanted to have something to keep little hands busy, this was just the RIGHT thing to get! | shelly "I'm so excited!" I likeds them so I bought the long loom set and I even like them better. You do not have to worry about the tension when winding the pegs on the long looms. I made a scarf for an adult in about 4 hours of knitting. Now I am going to make socks on the round looms. Then try designing patterns for sweaters on the long looms because I didn't see anny patterns for adult sweaters. They are addicting!!!! | Tina "Must have for everyone in the family!" I bought this set and the rings. I have arthritis in both hands and I was thinking that it might make my hands hurt more. I was wrong! It is so easy that everyone in the family will enjoy creating something by hand.I also bought everyone in my family either the ring set or the long set for christmas and they all loved it. I like the loose knit and it is going to be warm enough for my first central New York winter. I can't wait to be able to pick up some other looms so that I can use different types of yarn to make a blanket. I will recommend this product to others. | Mary "Very Versatile" The best part about these looms is you can use a single strand of worsted weight yarn. The smallest loom is the perfect size for scarves, and makes your projects really portable. The looms can also be used as single rakes, making them more versatile than the round looms, especially because there are more pegs. The pegs do come loose, but they can be easily glued in. "Different in a Good Way" This set of looms is a great change of pace from other Knifty Knitter looms! The smaller gauge is great to work with - doesn't need quite so much yarn. If you blend yarns for loom knitting this set will open up a whole new world of possibilities! It also produces a wonderful stitch with just a single strand of 4-ply worsted. The ability to make wider items is great too. I think sweater-making is where these looms really shine.
