I received a Pelican fountain pen as a gift when I went off to college. I've always been afraid to loose it due to sentimental value, but I've started using it lately, especially since I've been signing a lot of stuff, so I looked into getting another that I wouldn't feel bad about loosing, and I found out how much one cost! I'd feel bad about loosing that one too. So an inexpensive fountain pen like this would be great, and I really like the look of this one. I'm pretty sure my mother has one. The only downside is that it takes ink cartridges instead of using a pump (or whatever it's called exactly).

AMAZING!!! This Lamy Smari Fountain pen would definitely add some whimisical to my cards, etc. that I send out. I haven't saw one of these in a long time. Would LOVE to use it and try to write really pretty with it.
