i didn't mean that it was odd to shop to deal w/ emotional distress, just the way i read it was like that monitor was all you needed to get through it...which may be the case for some people...i feel like i'm digging myself into a hole here....(hides under a rock)

I have to lol at this, PLEASE don't think I'm warped, but i did a LOT of shopping when my mother did die. It did help me cope. Sorry for the morbid post. :(

I think i've been staring at the computer too long - I thought you said you got it when your *mother* died and i was like OHMYGODTHATSAWFUL...and what an odd way of coping... but i'm truly glad you typed *monitor*...

I got a 22" ViewSonic last year when my monitor died. I love it. It is freakin huge. Got a great deal too and my $50 rebate just came a few days ago. :)

i still have my gigantor computer monitor...thsi would be so sweet!
