These clocks are adorable. The design is cute and classy for the upscale room. They can become the focal point of a room because of their size and uniqueness. This is a great clock for any room (girls, boys, tween, teenager, sportsmans, baby's--or whomever else you think would be good--change it depending on the clock). You can choose a 12" clock, 14" clock, or an 18" clock! The printed face is fused to a 1/2 inch round wood piece that has rounded edges. It looks much more substantial than plastic clocks. The mechanism does not stick out from the back, but is tucked inside a hollowed out hole in the wood of the clock. Another GREAT thing about these mechanisms is that they are almost silent. They are specially made to reduce the ticking sound to almost nothing. The hands move smoothly instead of in the ticking motion. Available sizes:
