Wider style - Louie: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=32874846 We spend a great deal of time in the summer in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. A place where rustic charm comes alive. Everyday items from candle holders to coat racks are made from fallen trees, roots, bark, etc. Last winter we had a terrible ice storm at home. We lost a lot of tree branches from some big old trees. We do not have a fireplace and decided we need to do something with some of the fallen branches. If we were at the lake in the Adirondacks, we would turn them into something useful or decorative. The idea of candle holders came to mind. Michael peeled the bark, sawed the branches into little sections, carefully sanded and polyurethaned each little tea light until they were just right and looking pretty. No tree was harmed in the making of this wooden candle holder. (Lil Guide 1663, 1645, 1672)
