That's terrible! Yeah it makes me not want to buy the Ektorp sofa I've been eyeing for a while.

Bummer! I know Ikea says theit stuff is built to last, but I disagree. I have a dresser I got from there two years ago and all the drawers are falling apart.

Update: This broke about 2 weeks ago. Would definitely not recommend it because we have had it for less than a year, and it didn't get a lot of use.

have this with a black frame and black cushions. actually really comfortable with a few throw pillows on it.
