The high-street bank has made the move to give a fresh and innovative look to the cards, which were created just two years after the 1995 merger of Lloyds Bank and TSB. Carrying out the redesign will be food sector specialist Jones Knowles Ritchie, which says the new cards are set for an end-of-year launch. Andy Knowles, JKR chief executive, said: "This marks a significant and exciting new component to JKR's non-food offering and is out first move into financial services." Martin Bunn, Lloyds TSB current accounts senior marketing manager, said: "Debit and cash cards are now used even more widely than credit cards and have become a key point of contact between the bank and its customers. "We are looking forward to working with JKR and helping them to engage and expand out customer base."
