It consists of a warm pouch for the baby with tow openings, one for the baby's head and one for the mother's. The Mamaponcho is made from 100% ecologically friendly and very fine non-itchy virgin wool. It was designed by a mother who wanted a way to wear her little one during the fall, winter and spring while keeping her son and herself warm. She knitted the first Mamaponcho herself, later bought a knitting machine to keep up with orders and now the Mamaponcho is produced by a wonderful knitting company in Germany. She loves the meditative and inspiring aspects of knitting so much that she still makes some of the Mamaponcho herself. The Mamaponcho keeps you and your baby warm and dry during those cold, wet autumn and spring months as well as in the icy cold winter months. How to Use: You can carry your baby comfortably both on your front and your back while wearing the poncho. When carrying your baby on your back you can put the Mamaponcho on with no help.See less »
