The Vampire Martini glass is 6 1/4" high and holds 12 ounces. Sold as a set of 4. The Vampire Collection is mouth-blown, hand painted glasses coming to you all the way from the land of Vampires. Hands crafted by artisans, these glasses take their form outside the hills of the Carpathian Mountains in Transylvania, Romania. They are a modern tribute to those whose stories have been retold in historic folklore for centuries, and still thrill and mystify us today – Vampires. The creation process of the Vampire glasses is an art form that has been passed down through the generations of the Romanian people. It begins in the oven where the glass takes days to melt (the oven is never turned off). The artisan collects molten glass onto the tip of his blow rod, being careful to accumulate just the right amount for the piece to be blown. Each piece is then blown to the proper thickness and into the proper shape by mouth. After the Vampire glass takes its signature form, it is then allowed to cool. Then, it moves on to painting stations where the blood drop is painted onto the glass by hand. One last firing before the glasses are ready for packaging ensures long-lasting strength, durability, and color. Warning: Drinking from these glasses may give you Goosebumps….
