"GET SMART! Maxwell Smart and Agent 99 meet the Groovy Guru and an uber-psychedelic group known as the Sacred Cows! Thrill thrill thrill!" Get smart is an American comedy series that satirized the secret agent genre and the main character is Maxwell Smart who is Agent 86 of CONTROL under a secret U.S. government spy agency. The TV series has won seven Emmy awards as well nominated for an additional fourteen and two Golden Globe awards. The series was also adapted into movie three times included the upcoming movie of Steven Carell, Anne Hathaway, and Alan Arkin in 2008. It centered on bungling secret agent Maxwell which also known as Agent 86 and his partner is Agent 99 whose real name has never been revealed on this series. The pair investigates and thwarts various threats to the world, though Smart's incompetence invariably causes complications. However, Maxwell never fails to save the day, typically thanks to his own dumb luck and 99's skill. Looking on is the long-suffering head of CONTROL, who is always addressed simply as "Chief”, played by Edward Platt.
