Until I'm living on beachfront property, maybe these will help. Whatever muscle groups are involved in walking on sand & in snow, mine need work. (Anyone else with old internally-fixated injuries having a problem with this as well?) I'm always on the lookout for sandals that don't depend on straps between your toes to stay on, I'm too tender! But with this style, if I get sand between the straps and my foot, it rubs me raw, so I still haven't found anything to wear to the beach...
