Melissa oil, also known as Lemon Balm oil, is a pale-yellow liquid with a light lemony aroma. To use this oil on a trap, simply place a drop or two on your trap every 2-3 days. For External use only. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Comes with its own dropper.
Note: It is not recommended to use Melissa oil on skin without dilution. Keep out of reach of children. Recommended dilution rate for skin is 9 drops per ounce of oil, or 1%. Avoid contact with eyes. Each bottle contains 300 drops; a bottle should last a season for an insect-a-peel. Adding this oil to your sticky traps - the insect-a-peel, thrips/Leafminer blue trap, or the yellow aphid/whitefly sticky trap - will attract these unwanted pests and capture them. Melissa oil also attracts biting insects like horse flies and deer flies. Melissa oil contains terpenes, which have been shown to attract insect pests like thrips and fungus gnats.
