One of the best ways to enjoy quality incense. These heaters slowly release the true fragrance of your incense, and the controlled heating lets the true scent of every ingredient come through. There is also much less smoke, so it is perfect for indoor use. The heater is extremely versatile... it's great for burning incense resin, incense powder (bakhoor), dhoop, wood chips, fragrance oils- even herbs and flowers. No more charcoal or tealights required... Highly recommended! Electric heaters are by far the best and most efficient way of burning fine incense. Now we are able to offer them at very good price. It is an investment you will never regret. They burn cleanly and consistently, remain at the perfect temperature to heat the incense, and allow it to give forth its true essence, while not burning it up completely or too quickly. The look is simple and elegant. Quality ceramic trimmed with gold, they have a light on the front to let you know when the censer is on and a good size bowl to hold the incense. If you enjoy incense and want to receive its full benefit, invest in an electric heater, you will not be sorry. Using an Electric Incense Heater The Electric Heater is very simple and effective. Press a single layer of foil into the metal bowl. Mermade carries beautiful colored squares of foil for this purpose; a package is included when you purchase the Heater. Place incense woods or resins onto the foil. Place the Heater in a safe place away from children. Plug it in and turn on the switch located on the cord, the red light shows that the power is on. Let the incense remain on the hot surface of the bowl until it has released all it's fragrance or has turned completely dark. Woods and resins may vary but since the temperature is controlled it will not burn up or flame. Do not re-use the foil. Dispose of it with the incense residue when the Heater cools or remove it with sandalwood sticks provided or a pair of tongs or pinchers. Use a fresh foil with each use. To move the Heater while it is hot hold it at the bottom. We have found that to clear or bless a temple or room with Ancient Temple Incense Cakes or any precious wood or resin incense, simply follow the above directions. Then after 15 minutes or so go in and if the incense has stopped smoking or has turned dark, turn off the Heater. The space will be scented and blessed by the incense. You will notice a beautiful difference in the atmosphere, unlike using charcoal, synthetic or regular stick incense. Natural incense of resins and woods imbues a place with subtle and elegant fragrance that lasts and over time keeps enriching it.
